The story is about Loppy, a girl, visiting a new world after her death. In the beginning, Pooka, a rabbit, carries Loppy and jumps into the sky with her. Beneath them, plenty of boats decorated with lanterns float on the ocean. Moreover, there are portraits of dead people in the front of the boats, followed by spirits swimming together and forming a shape of a moving jellyfish. Loppy and Pooka follow the spirits which are heading towards the same destination.
They stop at a huge building like a human head. Loppy does not want to go and get rebirth by herself. However, Pooka needs to stay. It will become Loppy's guardian angel and stand on the building forever. Finally, surrounded by the spirits, Loppy walks inside the mouth of the building and the surrounding darkens gradually.
